Questions about Merge PDF
Everything happens in your browser, so the answers are short.
Read how privacy worksAre my files uploaded when I merge them?
No. Your browser reads the files and builds the merged PDF on your own device. There is no upload step, and no server ever receives your documents.
Is there a limit on how many files I can merge?
There's no set limit. Very large jobs are bounded only by your device's memory, and most computers comfortably handle hundreds of pages.
Can I merge password-protected PDFs?
Yes. You'll be asked for the password, which stays on this device. The merged file is saved without a password.
Do links survive the merge?
Links to websites are kept. Links that jump to another page keep working when that page is part of the result. The bookmark outline isn't carried over yet.
